Oliver Hamilton was a strong advocate for the acquisition and development of new skills, and the furtherance of post-secondary education.

This is the driving inspiration behind the creation of the Tent of Oliver Scholarship Funds program: To empower the next generation to develop and hone their God-given skills to join the workforce with ease and passion through the establishment of endowed awards programs.

Oliver Hamilton Memorial Scholarship

In partnership with North Toronto Christian School, the Oliver Hamilton Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually to a member of the graduating class who demonstrates a life of integrity, principled ambition, and a passion for the sciences.

Oliver Hamilton’s three children attended North Toronto Christian School from JK through to high school, the entirety of time of which Oliver served on the school board of directors.

Oliver Hamilton Memorial Endowed Electronics Award

Starting in the 2024/2025 school year, $1,000 will be awarded annually to a student in the Electronics Engineering Technician program who has a minimum GPA of 3.0. The recipient is an international student in need of financial support and has overcome challenges in the pursuit of their education. The recipient is also a team player, hardworking and a problem solver. This award honours Oliver Hamilton who is remembered for his lifelong passion and expertise in the field of electronics, and his strong advocacy for education and empowerment for the next generation.
